DAVE DAVIS | CEO

Dave has been in the alarm industry for nearly 30 years. His experience in all aspects of the security industry is a great asset to our operations. Dave started in the field as a technician, worked in sales then as an operations manager. Now as CEO of SafeHouse, he brings that knowledge to our team and ultimately to our customers.

Darrin Moore | President

Born and raised in Caroline County, Darrin is the founder of SafeHouse. Darrin retired from law enforcement after 25 years of public service and started SafeHouse with a vision of using his training and knowledge of law enforcement to build a security company focused on high-quality products and exceptional service. Now, after 14 years with SafeHouse, Darrin is part of the team he helped build and continues to be committed to serving the community. Darrin lives in Federalsburg with his wife, Kim, and remains proud to be part of the community he has called home for most of his life.

JASON NICKLE

Meet Jason Nickle! Originally from Claymont, Delaware, just outside Philadelphia. Jason has called Queen Anne’s County home for nearly 20 years with his wife, Amanda, and their three children. Jason enjoys cheering on his Eagles and Phillies, hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors with his family. He and his family are also active members of Centreville Methodist Church.

Jason’s favorite part about working at SafeHouse is making connections and building partnerships that matter. He takes pride in getting to know the people and businesses he works with and building relationships that go beyond simply providing a service.

 

We’re excited to have Jason on the SafeHouse team and appreciate the relationships, energy, and community connection he brings to our customers every day!

BRAD HUGHES

Meet Brad Hughes! Brad brings 29 years of experience as a retired police officer, Brad’s specialty is community service and protecting the people around him. He has been part of the SafeHouse team for the past 2 ½ years and also serves as Chief Engineer at Linkwood Salem Volunteer Fire Company.

As a lifelong Dorchester County resident, Brad knows the importance of looking out for the people in his community. His favorite part of working at SafeHouse is simple: helping protect the people he cares about while also helping families throughout the community feel safe and secure.

MATT BURKHARDT

Born and raised in Talbot County, Matt Burkhardt has proudly called this community home for more than 45 years. His deep roots and love for the area have shaped his commitment to serving and supporting the people and community he cares about.

Matt and his wife, Kristen, are proud parents of two daughters and active members of Royal Oak Community United Methodist Church. When he’s not working, Matt enjoys spending time on the water boating or coaching and cheering on his daughters as they compete in softball, volleyball, dance, and swim team.

Service has always been an important part of Matt’s life. He spent five years as a law enforcement officer, six years with the Trappe Volunteer Fire Company, and has dedicated the past 21 years to the security industry. Through each of these roles, Matt has focused on protecting others, helping his community, and building relationships along the way.

After more than 45 years in Talbot County, Matt remains grateful for the community that has shaped him and is proud to continue serving the families and businesses that call the Eastern Shore home.
